MyFitnessPal alternative?

What's a carb? A car part? What's a macro? A type of camera lens?

The feature I'm most missing from MFP would be the "recipes" - for example, if you were making say, a tower of pancakes, I'd enter all the ingredients and let it keep a running talley of ALL macros in the entire recipe.

Then i would count how many pancakes came out and enter that number as the "number of servings", which MFP then divided and thus gave a number of macros/1 pancake.

Easy tracking afterwards with simply entering how many "servings" one ate.

Same for stuff like lasagne, except the number of servings I'd set to 1 and track the amount by visually dividing, so i could enter 0.5 or 0.25 if i ate half or a quarter of the resulting lasagne's "area".

Barcode scanner would be a great bonus too!
Thanks!

I think Macrofactor can do that.
I KNOW Carbon can do that.

Yes, but he asked for a free alternative. I still use MF.

What is this, some sort of reading comprehension test?

Based on the recommendations of the current thread, I've installed the following apps (forgot to mention I'm looking at Android apps exclusively :? ):

My net diary
Nutritionix
Cronometer

I've stuck with chronometer, as it seems to be most friendly for my goals (and in the free version to boot): has recipe functionality; very nice overview right on the home page of daily cals and macros as well as the ability to set daily goals for each with no restrictions unlike MFP (bonus is it allows to set only protein and calories goals, and leave the carbs/fats to be only tracked without subconsciously trying to hit some goals for them that would be showing in MFP); barcode scanner; ability to check foods to be added for their nutritional value to be quickly checked against label/internet data; setting to exclude fiber in the calorie from fiber; settings to remove unnecessary overload starts like fat types, amino acids etc...

Huh?
Do you mean reducing the carb count of a food based on the amount of fiber in it?

Yep. Almost. It tracks carbs depending on your settings (net, total, etc) and it can be set to exclude fiber.

Yes, i release this is so miniscule compared to all other possible inaccuracies, but it could be useful for someone on keto, and I've come across a post where someone actually had a valid reasoning for his calorie calculation to be adjusted for fibre based on his experience in the "who's on a cut" thread.
