This band has started showing up in my feeds. It started when the Nyango Star stuff started showing up. I have no idea what to think of it and am afraid that I will like it. Why is Japan so weird?

Foreign music is just terrible. If there is one area where America is still number one by a ridiculous margin this is it.

Uncle Britain doesn't count.

Thanks. Now I need to bleach my ears with some real metal.

It is true that literally all the best bands of all time came from Britain.

The vocal is not for me, but there's some nice playing! Puts me in mind of Dream Theater in some parts, with Yngwie Malmsteen thrown in

DT used to have soul and chops. This lacks the former. It reminds me of *recent* DT; virtuosity without feeling or direction. Which is what stops me from being a yuge Malmsteen fan too.

They have been around for quite some time I believe. Yeah it's a weird band. They even played on stage with Dragonforce. In fact to me babymetal sound like a bunch of characters our of Detroit Metal City.

I am not into "Metal" as such particularly. I appreciate the difficulty (As much as a non-musician can) and like the music inder certain circumstances, but prefer "Lighter" metal like maybe Rammstein or some Slayer or even AC/Dc. They work better for lifting for me and carry some nostalgia because I'm old. I have no idea what goes on with my feed. First it suggests Myango Star, them Babymetal, then an awful lot of Meshugga. I guess those are all related to the algorithm (Maybe algorhythm in this case?) but in my mind they are disparate things.

Over a year later and this still isn’t on Spotify. Infuriating.

The Black Keys are from Ohio, so I don't follow the argument here. Unless Britain managed to annex Ohio...

We got some good bands, but not all the best by a long way, US got Mastodon, DT, High on fire to name a few, and if you're Canadian... The mighty RUSH!

I can't stand Rush. Or any Prog Rock really. Never liked them, never will, and I grew up in Ontario.

Common ground. I might not have hated them, but they were so overplayed I couldn't help it.

I like Rush but Geddy Lee sounds like my mother when he sings so it's difficult to listen to.

Them old lady vibes.
