I find shooting competitions more boring than lifting competitions.
Top Shot was a fun to watch though..
Yeah, I really liked that show too. In one competition they had to shoot the S&W 500 single handed using the double action, which is a pretty heavy trigger pull. Shooting it single action is pretty easy.

I've not read this thread, but is the guns:shit ratio skewed?

It’s just another manifestation of American Consumer Whoreism.

Note all the talk is about guns. Not shooting technique or shooting competitions or range-time.
LOL as if a thread titled "Guns and Shit" is a good place for serious discussion about technique & training. I've shot in the neighbofrhood of 200K rounds between 9MM & .40 S&W in the last 8 years, competed 2x a month, had dry fire & live fire training schedules etc. 99% of people can't relate to that shit, but everybody likes gun pics.

So you want to talk shooting technique...let's talk about the roll and shoot.

I practice this all the time. Not so useful indoors.

Is there an actual standard for on-topic:shit ratio that is aimed for in this part of the forum?

The name would indicate the ratio should skew towards shit.

Spring Break? I think.
It's spring breakers, thanks. Spring break is another movie from 1983. Both rated at around 5 of 10, so right up my alley ;-)

This thread needs a lot of James Yeager.

He is the hero of modern Western Civilization.

I'm going to take all the tacticool assault classes I can.

Should probably start krav maga too.

Seems like barre chords ought to be easy now that I have 2x the forearm muscles of my old scrawny self.
