If I'm doing Smolov Jr again, gotta stick with 5kg jumps, not 7.5-10kg. 107.5kg felt just right.

BP is looking a bit promising though. Did 115x1 last cycle. Testing next week.

SQ:160x2x6 (felt terrible. feeling wrecked from Wednesday)
BP: 115x1 120x1 125x1 (all time PR)

I don't know in terms of E1RM, but this is definitely the heaviest Ive moved on the bench. At a lower BW of 99-100kg too compared to 110-125kg. Somewhat mixed feelings because I was hoping for 130. Might have honestly been possible if I had not pushed too much in the last week. Smolov Jr seems like a success.

Testing the SQ next week.

Congrats on a great PR. If you were working in lbs rather than kgs, 275 is a fun milestone (two plates plus quarters).

Thanks DCR, hopefully 3 plates will be in the cards next cycle. Did a static hold on 3 plates, honestly felt lighter than I thought.

25/7

SQ: 210kgx1
BP 92.5x6x3,87.5x6x3

Bad day. Had a long nap and felt tired going into the gym. Placed the safeties one notch too high and the bar crashed into it just as I was reaching depth. Lost momentum after that. Managed to do it again but depth was maybe just parallel. Did my previous 1RM and it definitely went faster than last cycle so...

Also did 92.5 when I should have done 87.5.

Gonna switch to Smolov Jr for both lifts now.

Going well so far. Surprised by the amount of volume and intensity I can handle tbh.

Fun session. Clearly felt stronger on the bench compared to the last time I did this weight.
