I switched to concentrate for the opposite, for bulking.
I think it's 55 calories more, 3 times a day.
Doesn't prevent me from hitting the mark for cutting either, but i manage other diet items when i do that.

Wife uses a little, and i get isolate for her.
Just because she wants to use the smallest volume.

I was kind of almost maybe thinking of giving Redcon1's MRE Lite a go because a) marketing, b) some of the flavors sounded cool, and c) the cave-bro in me kind of wanted to try out the whole "no whey" beef-eggs-fish thing it claims to have going on...

...but

Ended up going with MyProtein again because I just got 5.5 lbs of whey, 2 lbs of creatine, and another bottle of caffeine for $50 shipped using the code...

Ended up rolling the dice on the new (to me) chocolate cookies and cream... so here's to praying it tastes like Oreos lol...

I'm all stocked up, so not watching closely.
Less than 24 hours on the current, straight up unambiguous, 50% off sale. (MyProtein)
Checked my usual items, and it is about what i usually get for best price.

The sales always come around.
Just take note of the things to look for from the last several posts here.

The whole "no-whey" shtick is weird. I don't get it. Whey is the purest source of protein with a complete and well rounded amino acid profile, best bio- availability and also the cheapest. And it's easy to take in. And no animals died for it (Like I'd care anyways).

I think most of it revolves around some people having tolerance issues with whey... bloating... farts maybe haha...

I don't really have any of those issues, and in the back of my mind I knew the only reason I was considering trying it out is mostly succumbing to all the BS marketing (following strongman as much as I do on social media, I get HAMMERED with Redcon ads lol)...

I do really love animals though... to eat them that is... so...

$211 shipped for 22 lbs of chocolate smooth isolate. Usually around $150. I think I'll wait a bit.

I just ordered 22 pounds of Impact Whey Isolate Unflavored for $165 + tax from Myprotein.

Regular price for 11 pounds was listed as $139.99. I typed "HONEY" in the discount code box and it gave me 41% off. So $82.59 for 11 pounds, plus tax.

That's a better code than I was using. Still comes out to $178 with tax for 22 lbs of chocolate smooth isolate.

I don't remember how I found that code, but I've used it several times. No idea how long it will keep working.

Gotta love that California 9%+ sales tax, right?

I wait for at least a 45% off code, and buy 44lbs.
So far, i've been able to find some combination of sale and code to get either 45% or 50% off, everytime i've bought from MyProtein.
Appx. $228 for 44lbs of concentrate is the mark i hit pretty much everytime.
Tax and Paypal fee included.

I'm months ahead on concentrate now, but if another 45% or 50% code comes along this year, i'll get some isolate.
My wife uses that (at a much slower rate than me).

That's pretty much as good as it gets.

Where are you getting that code?
I want to be looking there.

This is concentrate, not isolate, we're talking about, right?

Code doesn’t work with chocolate smooth isolate, at least.

I get the $47 in my cart, but the site won't send me to checkout.

Yesterday i got as far as paypal, and then MyProtein would not complete the transaction.
"this is taking longer than expected" reload page, etc...

Maybe it's just this code, but i've come to expect something to go wrong at least 75% of the time with their stupid site.

I really wish Bulk Supplements price would come back down.
