Final product:

My girlfriend got a trainer for her bike so we set that up today too. Still need to shim the platform a bit to compensate for the slope in the floor, and build some plate storage: https://www.catalystathletics.com/artic ... late-Rack/

The name makes me wonder if you have anything to do with the Donkhouse poker site...

Yeah, Dynamic Ultra Pro, their flagship rack. I actually picked it up along with a "grab bag" pallet that ended up containing a nice gym storage unit and a 3x3 Dynamic Titan rack, among other things. So now I've got 3 racks and need to decide what I'm keeping. I'd like to keep the storage unit for something, but it's kind of huge. I should probably open a gym when the pandemic gets less pandemic-ish.

The Strength Co rack just got promoted in my Instagram feed.

$727 for squat stands with a cross brace, poorly made j-hooks, and questionable spotter arms.

What a time to be alive.

Seems like a totally better deal than the Dynamic S-2 clone with pullup bar and spotter arms for like 650 shipped that has been available through the entire pandemic...

It’s almost like that entire brand is making it a point to prey upon the people that refuse to do research.

I lol'd during the promotional YT video for their new plates.

When he just wiggled the plates side to side (to demo. the tighter tolerances) the rack wobbled pretty bad.

https://strengthwarehouseusa.com/produc ... power-rack

Helping someone shop and found this

$725 free shipping, 11 gauge, westside spacing, UHMW on j cups, 16mm / 5/8th hardware, triangle plates on all uprights.

EDIT-
Damn, the price point actually falls between Rep PR 4000 and the Titan T3.
The Rep base rack of similar height and depth being about $800
May have gotten over enthusiastic about the pricing here since all of those have free shipping.

That rear crossmember is nice too
I don't think that with the gusseted brackets up top, and that 8 bolt crossmember setup that the 2X3 top rails are an issue at all.
Pullup bar is fully knurled
Attachments are inexpensive. 5/8ths holes, so compatible with likely much of the stuff from other brands.
$55 for dip handles, free shipping.
haven't looked at the pulley system.
But as a stand alone full rack, this has to be one of the better values out there
The multi grip pullup bar option gives more height too. $95 free shipping

Thoughts?

@murphyreedus ?

Shows the j cups well
retaining pins in the safeties are a nice touch
The spotter bars suck, they should have the kind that are on the next level down that attach the same way as the J-cups. Other than that it looks like a nice setup.

It doesn't have spotter arms.
They only make those for two other of their racks.
(As far as i could see)

But regardless, Rep or Rogue 24" 3X3 spotter arms should fit.
And if you mean the pin pipe safeties, wtf do you expect at that price point?

I mean Safeties I suppose. The one inch rods inside a pipe with the little clips to hold them. We am accustomed to calling them spotter bars as the new fangled spotter stuff didn't used to exist to be confusing.
