@slowmotion, it is what it is. Although I'm majorly dissapointed, and super bummed out, I've processed most of it and now I'm simply executing a different plan.
I have my nose stuck in Dr McGill's books right now, the man's supposed to be the back whisperer and I'll be using his guidance to work through and rehab my back. It's looking like the process will be a lot lengthier, and markedly different, than my physio led me to believe when I was injured last year. I'm not in any real hurry, and the name of the game is quality of life in the long-term, which means I can't afford to do things half-assed or try to rush them...powerlifting ain't paying no bills.
Training-wise, I've already sat down and drawn up a bench specialisation program which I'm looking forward to getting stuck into. I'm actually quite excited about it, it's going to be interesting
