+1 for Fallout. Amazon have chucked buckets of money at the production, for which I am grateful.

14 Peaks was good.

About a Nepali born dude who climbed the top 14 highest peaks (all above 8000m) in a six month time period.

The guy is (physical) monster, and maybe a little crazy

+1

The unassuming badass arc is what made 'Nobody' so appealing too.

Best political topic movie of all time.

Civil Asset forfeiture is something that makes me really really angry.

fauda was ok if you like commando type shit. i would liken it to a mid east version of Homeland. cheesy but entertaining and cool. Dana is sexy when she speaks arabic. and gali is easy on the eyes as well.

It really is. My only grievance is the insistence on changing his name to Oz Cobb.

Netflix anime review dump:

Finally watched Jujutsu Kaisen (1st season on Netflix). It lives up to the hype, and I heard the 2nd season is even better.

Terminator: Zero. I'm a huge fan of T1 and T2, but have not kept up with in-universe canon so I'm not sure how the anime fits. That said, I really liked this and found myself eager to watch the story unfold. I usually watch anime with subtitles, but the English voice acting was pretty good. (Timothy Olyphant as the terminator).

Dandadan. Just heard about this and there are only 2 episodes out but I can't wait for more. Awesome animation. Cool music. Great character chemistry. Again, only 2 episodes, but it feels perfectly balanced between silly and serious.

The Jujutsu Kaizen movie is awesome if you liked season 1.

Been watching Special Ops: Lioness on Amazon. Pretty straight forward spy thriller centered on US counter terrorism. Show is 100% elevated by the quality of the actors. A lot of A-listers. Even Morgan Freeman has a 5 minute roll he elevates. If you are in a show hole this one is hard to beat. Just 1 season 8 episodes.

Did you spend any amount of time playing in a high school metal band?

Not exactly a pre-req, but it makes that show Hysteria way more fun than it normally would be... and it's already pretty fun.

A friend convinced me to watch Arcane. I missed this somehow in 2021 when I had way too much time on my hands to watch tv.

Anyhow, S1 was excellent and S2 just dropped. So far really good.
